IM by TotalCare Europe, a leader in Spain in the design, manufacture and distribution of mobility solutions for people with reduced mobility, proudly announces the launch of the new iCarbon, an innovative electric wheelchair that consolidates its leadership in the carbon fibre wheelchair sector. The iCarbon joins a range of models that already includes the successful Martinika Carbon, Kittos Carbon and Magnum Carbon, reinforcing its position as pioneers in the use of this highly sought-after material.
The iCarbon stands out for its ultra-light and compact design, weighing only 13.7 kg (without battery) and with a load capacity of up to 120 kg. Its carbon fiber structure, a material recognized for its strength and lightness, not only ensures agile and comfortable handling, but also absorbs impacts, providing a smooth and safe driving experience. The corrosion resistance and durability of this material guarantee a long lifespan, making the iCarbon an unrivaled option for demanding users.
Technical features:
- 150W motors, allowing for speeds of up to 6 km/h.
- Battery options: one or two 12 Ah lithium modules, offering a range of up to 30 km with two batteries.
- Quick and easy folding, reducing its dimensions to just 36 cm wide and 70 cm high, ideal for storing in small spaces or in the trunk of a car.
In addition to its outstanding performance, the iCarbon adapts to the needs of each user, as it is available in two sizes: the 45 cm size (total width of 55 cm) and the 51 cm size (total width of 61 cm). This versatility, together with its reduced turning radius of 90 cm, facilitates manoeuvrability both indoors and outdoors, ensuring fluid and uncomplicated circulation.
“With the iCarbon, we continue to expand our catalogue of carbon fibre electric wheelchairs, a segment where we remain leaders. This new model covers an important need in the market and we are convinced that it will be very well received by the sector and users,” says Josep A. Gómez, CEO of TotalCare Europe.
With this launch, IM by TotalCare Europe reaffirms its commitment to leading the electric mobility sector, offering innovative products that improve the quality of life of people with reduced mobility. The iCarbon is not just a wheelchair, it is an advanced mobility solution designed to offer freedom, comfort and style.
